It’s not every day you’re allowed to, let alone encouraged to, yank a tooth out of someone’s mouth. So what if this tooth has been loose OVER A YEAR? The thing was ready. What’s a little blood? The important thing is, there was no crying.

    Thought about that—we had just finished reading a book where kids were yanking out their own teeth left and right, but no, I just grabbed it and pulled. She was REALLY motivated, otherwise there’s no way it would have been possible.
